CONSTITUTION

ST. PATRICK CATHOLIC SCHOOL

PARENT TEACHER ORGANIZATION

DIOCESE OF TYLER, TEXAS

 

 

Article I-NAME

            The name of this organization shall be the St. Patrick Catholic School Parent Teacher Organization of Lufkin, Texas Diocese of Tyler, Texas.

 

Article II-PURPOSE

The St. Patrick Catholic School Parent Teacher Organization shall exist to support the students and Faculty of the school.

 

Article III-MEMBERSHIP

The St. Patrick Catholic School Parent Teacher Organization shall be composed of the parents or guardians of the students and the employees of St. Patrick Catholic School.

 

Article IV-OFFICERS

The officers of the St. Patrick Catholic School Parent Teacher Organization shall consist of the president, vice-president, secretary, and treasurer.  The Pastor, Superintendent and Principal shall serve as ex-officio, honorary executive officers of the Parent Teacher Organization.

 

Article V-MEETINGS

The meetings of the St. Patrick Catholic School Parent Teacher Organization shall be held monthly at a time and place determined by the Executive Committee.

 

Article VI-PARLIAMENTARY PROCEDURES

Robert’s Rules of Order shall be used for all meetings of the St. Patrick Catholic School Parent Teacher Organization.

 

Article VII-COMMITTEES

The St. Patrick Catholic School Parent Teacher Organization shall provide for an Executive Committee consisting of the President, Vice-president, Secretary, Treasurer, Public Relations, Pastor, Superintendent, and Principal.  All other committees shall be appointed by the President as deemed necessary.

 

Article VIII-AMENDMENTS TO CONSTITUTION

The constitution of the St. Patrick School Parent Teacher Organization my be amended, supplemented, revised or repealed in whole or part by a 75% vote of at least ¾ of the voting members.
