A Letter from the PTO:
PTO is a group of parents and teachers
that work together to make our school the best that it can be
and when we work together for the good of the school, we all
win, especially our children. We are blessed to have both
wonderful teachers and parents here at St. Patrick. If you have
any questions about PTO and what you can do to help, please
contact one of the PTO members. We still need someone to be
Vice-President!!
This
year we are going to focus on a new way to raise money. Instead
of numerous fundraising, we are going to try something
different. We are going to have monthly contest to see which
class can bring in the most
Campbell’s labels,
Box Tops and
Tyson labels. Each
month we will collect the labels and that class that collects
the most labels for that month will get to go on a fun field
trip. With Box Tops we get 10 cents for each label and twice a
year they send PTO a check. With Tyson we get 24 cents for each
label and they will send us PTO a check. Campbell’s labels work
a little differently; we send in the labels and then go on line
to place an order from their catalog. The catalog has numerous
items that can be used for the classrooms. If we focus on these
few ways to raise money then we don’t have to constantly be
asking everyone to sell things to raise money. The only
fundraiser PTO is having this year is the
Sally Foster
program. Be sure when you check out, to type the school's
account number, 609-413. We
will only do this at the first of the year so that we will have
enough money in the account to get started until the other money
comes in from the labels.
This year PTO will help pay for some
expenses such as: PSIA competition, the family picnic, Catholic
School’s week events, Field day needs and future playground
equipment.
